Our Client is a leader in providing industrial solutions with high technological content requires a Commissioning Quality / Planer Manager to work on the construction of a New Build Energy from Waste Power Station. The successful candidate will be report to the Commission ing Manager and will be responsible for commissioning test quality reports, weekly progress report, programme update, and client training.

The successful candidate will ideally have a strong background in commissioning and will have worked on waste or energy plant. You will need to have excellent communication skills both written and verbally and ideally be able to speak French although this is not essential.

As the Commissioning Quality / Planer Manager you will be responsible for the following duties

Organisation
- Ensuring the Client and subcontractor are working according to the commissioning procedures
- In conjunction with the commissioning manager, adapt procedure when needed

Quality control and inspection
Ensure calibration of measuring and testing equipment
- Regularly inspect the work, in doubt do / ask for controls
- Regularly check the effective implementation of commissioning plan
- Participate in the survey & hold points with the client

Commissioning test report
- Make sure test are done according to procedure, update procedure when needed
- Collect test report, check they are done according to the procedures
- Format test reports in a suitable way
- Liaise with the client to make sure they are suitable

Progress report
- Finalize format file for progress report
- Collect progress data
- Update weekly progress each week (% of progress and description of activities)

Daily activity
- Attend the daily meeting with the client and the commissioning manager, and record the daily activities

Commissioning programme update
- Update weekly the commissioning programme
- Follow the client witness & hold points to be applied to Client activities and sub-contractor

Client staff training
- Organize client staff training for theoretical and practical training
- Organize dates for theoretical training with the client staff and Client or subcontractors teaching staff, and record the attendance sheets
- Organize client practical training on site and make sure trained operators sign the attendance matrix

Punch list (in conjunction with the punch / snag list manager)
- Ensure indentified snags are recorded in the snag list
- following the resolution of snags and ensure resolution is correct
- answering the client about snags resolution
