Commissioning Project Manager

My client are looking for an interim to provide extra capacity within their commissioning department. They are embarking on a 7 year plan to commission extra beds within the independent sector.

The overarching remit is to measure and improve the quality of provision in care homes.

This is not necessarily a pure commissioning role. This role will be project based and will pull together a portfolio of commissioning projects.

The interim will need to get their head round a programme of works and liaise with a variety of stakeholders to help the head of commissioning steer the overall strategy.

Deliverables of this particular project are:

Production of project initiation documents
Detailed plan of exit from Care Homes
Care home Recommissoning (Extra Care and Reablement)
PR Consultation exercise
Introduction of a new Framework agreement and accreditation system
Analysis of fee levels
The successful applicant will need to hit the ground running under minimal supervision.
