Commissioning Manager - Care Bill - Social and Adult Care

My client based in Buckinghamshire requires a Commissioning Manager to assist with a key position.

This will be to contribute to the development of THE OVERALL STRATEGY OF ADULT AND FAMILY WELLBEING WITHIN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE, in conjunction with the political direction as determined by the Cabinet.

KEY SKILLS:

- COMMISSIONING QUALIFICATION
- Strong Commissioning experience across HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE
- Good understanding of the CARE BILL
- Desirable: Project Management Qualification

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Contribute to the strategic direction of the provision of services to adults with identified needs across HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE. This is a joint post between the Council and CCG's.
- Set a vision for the service area that stakeholders can understand.
- Interaction with CCGs, Local Authorities on Commissioning Issues
- Implement all areas of the commissioning cycle in relation to strategic commissioning activity.
- Represent the Council and CCG's at a range of forums not only publicly, but also with internal and external partners, as the lead commissioner for learning disability services.

RATE: £300-£400pd

CONTRACT: 6 week Initial, (with a view to extension of min. 6 months work)
