Commissioning Lead

A global biopharmaceutical company is looking to build a team of Commissioning Engineers to support the start-up of new process equipment on a capital investment project. They require a heavyweight C&Q lead to manage this team and the C&Q element of the project.

Duration: 12 months

Start: June

Role and Responsibilities:
Leading the planning, coordinating and scheduling of commissioning
activities
Leading the commissioning team in executing and documenting commissioning tests on the new process equipment (bioreactors, storage vessels, filtration skids, chromatography columns)
Managing the compilation of commissioning test reports
Support and lead the site's users in the execution of qualification protocols (IQ/OQ)
Resolving any deviations during the commissioning and qualification phases of the project

Requirements:

Degree educated in Chemical/Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent experience
Experience in the planning and execution of commissioning and qualification activities
Knowledge of biopharmaceutical production processes and equipment (upstream or downstream)
Experience of leading a team
