Commissioning Consultant, Commissioning Manager - Care Sector

Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Consultant, Policy Development and Care Review expert required with experience in Adults Social Care, NHS, PCTs or Health Trust is required by our public sector client.

This individual will lead the strategic review and development of new policy regarding how the organisation Commissions services in the Care Sector. Experience leading Commissioning teams, developing and implementing Commissioning strategy within Adults Services, Older Peoples or the NHS and with experience Commissioning specialist services across Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities would be ideal combined with the ability to conduct reviews of current practice prior to the development of recommendations and strategy.

This organisation is currently undergoing significant change and the ability to take a holistic and individual case by case review of a number of cases/services is required as they a number of recommendations across a broad range of care delivery services. Knowledge or experience working with initiatives such as self directed support, Personalisation, Marketplace development and brokerage would be beneficial as this is a key piece of work within the organisations broader transformation programme.

Due to the nature of this work, there is some flexibility regarding number of days per week this Consultant would work and due to the nature of the work some working from home may be acceptable. This position is within easy commute throughout the Southeast including, London, the Home Counties, Essex, Surrey, Kent and the organisation is ideally looking for someone to start during January, even if just on a couple of days per week basis, however may wait for the right individual.
