Commissioning and Contracts Manager

My client is an independent healthcare provider specialising in the provision of wide ranging services to Acute Trusts and PCTs throughout the UK.

They have a really interesting opportunity for an experienced Acute Commissioning and Contracts Manager to work with a Trust's Specialist Commissioning Group to drive saving and help the Trust deliver strategies for the negotiation of contracts.

The successful candidate must have NHS commissioning and contracts experience gained within the acute setting. You must have experience in and an understanding of the Standard Acute Contract and also be able to demonstrate times where you have brought about change. Part of this change will include improving matters in terms of the commissioning of services and the contracts therein. It is also important that the right person is highly organised and an excellent communicator.

The assignment will run for 7 months initially with the possibility of extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to help develop a superb service for a leading healthcare company with a culture of ownership and a reputation for excellence.
