COMMERCIAL OFFICER - CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PURCHASING AND SUPPLY (MCIPS).

My client requires a Commercial Officer for a 6 Month contract role based in Leeds (Candidates can be based out of London also) with a daily rate up to £280.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

- Working within the Commercial team to deliver programme objectives.
- Supporting colleagues to achieve targets.
- Develop successful working relationships with external suppliers.
- Contribute to procurement and contract strategies.
- Compiling and issuing tenders.
- Administering contract amendments.
- Providing Commercial advice and guidance to the wider business.
- Ensuring all procurement activities are within budget.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Previous track record of working in commercial environments.
- Proven experience of delivering savings.
- Full graduate member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS).
- Public Sector is highly desirable.
