Commercial Manager - MBB/Broadband/Mobile/Proposition/Pricing/Margin/P&L/Tariff/Performance

An exciting opportunity as a Commercial Manager for a leading communications company based in Berkshire. Managing the performance of Contract MBB base margin and Products & Services area to deliver the P&L targets.

Key work includes reporting on key drivers of the margin and base results, analysing tariff/device profitability, providing insight on growth opportunities and working with Marketing to set clear direction on actions required to deliver the targets.

The role is in the P&L and Customer Base Performance team (team of 9) within the Commercial Finance department.

It breaks into two main areas of responsibility:
Contract MBB P Products & Services P&L performance.

Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure reporting of key financial and customer KPI's are produced with clear explanation of variances to targets eg revenue, cost and margin analysis by tariff and device, impact of new and upgrading customer on results, etc.
*Finance lead in developing Contract MBB and Products propositions producing financial assessments with recommendations. The will include new MBB tariffs, Handset and MBB insurance products, mCommerce launch, etc.
*Identifying opportunities and developing business plans with Marketing and operational teams to deliver the targets.
*Develop good working relationships with Marketing team and be a strong business partner.

Key Skills:
*Background of working in a fast moving environment commercial environment
*Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills (MS Excel)
*An accountancy qualification is very much preferable
*Proven history of overseeing end to end projects
*Strong stakeholder management skills
*Ability to analyse and monthly targets and root cause as to why they were or were not hit.
