Commercial Officer

Our exclusive client has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Commercial officer to join their team in Warwick.

Job Purpose:

* Key interface management of both external and internal contract services for optimum use
* Ensuring maximum value to GTAM is achieved though contract services
* Relationship management with service providers
* Procurement support
* Purchase to Pay process efficiency and supplier performance
* Key interface management of both external and internal contract services for optimum use
* Coaching & skills transfer to both SCM FTE's and key Stakeholders to increase commercial acumen within wider GTAM

Experience Required:

* Significant experience pre and post Contract Management
* High Level of computer literacy, especially in the use and application of MySAP ERP and standard MS Applications, in particular Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
* Experience of commercial influencing and excellent team building skills
* Extended knowledge of business systems to be able to retrieve and manipulate information
* Business/technical knowledge gained from commercial/contractual experience

Qualifications Desirable:

* Educated to Degree or equivalent professional qualification ie MCIPS
* Valid UK Driving Licence

Key Tasks:

* Support Global Procurement in pre award phase
* Manage Large/Medium Contract to agreed terms, programme
* Ensure compliance with KPI, Terms post award
* Improve supplier performance, capture lessons learnt best practice
* Embed lessons learnt/best practice into both live and in-flight contracts
