COMMERCIAL OFFICER

OPPORTUNITY WITHIN A LARGE, PRESTIGIOUS ENVIROMENT

This is a job opportunity for a 6 month contract within a prestigious Government organisation as an Office Manager. You will be an integral part of the team, gain valuable experience and have an opportunity to network within a large organisation.

Please also be aware there are two openings for this at the site, both are available for a start immediately.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You main daily duties will be providing functional support to the Senior Commercial Manager in ensuring timely and effective contracting and pricing activity to meet the requirements and objectives set out in the business plan.

To organise and manage the work within the commercial area, provision of commercial advice to support future procurement activity. Drafting, negotiating and placement of Contracts, pricing letters and amendments within delegated powers. Closure of completed contracts, including final pricing and post costing. Provision of management information and statistics, and deputising for the Senior Commercial la Manager as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Skills required include strong experience in commercial contract management/placement and excellent communication/interpersonal skills. You must also understand the process in which a project works.
