Position: SC Cleared Commercial Officer - Procurement, Contract Management, Peoplesoft

JOB TYPE: 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Location: Portsmouth

Rate: £250 - £300 per day

Outsource UK Ltd is actively seeking to recruit for a contract SC Cleared Commercial Officer role on behalf of a client.

The Client:
Our Defence client requires an SC Cleared Commerical Officer to manage the procurement process, including tendering process, contract drafing and placement.

The Job:
Your role will include commerucal support in the placing of requirements and contractors to the MOD. You will also provide procurement and commercial service ensuring contracts and suppliers meet needs for operational and contractual delivery.

You will also support the management of procurements through the development and implementation of effective contracts with appropriate suppliers, considering internal needs and supply market characteristics. You will also be expected to use and understand a range of EU compliant procurement routes and tools as appropriate, making use of effective procurement approaches and processes.

As a part of the role there will also be an element of Contract Management where required.

You will have experience of - - Procurement experience - tender management, contract drafting & placement
- Knowledge of the use of Peoplesoft procurement modules
- Public procurement experience, including EU directives and relevant procurement law.
- MCIPS
- MoD procurement experience, including the use of Government framework agreements.

This is a 6 month contract role and is commutable from Southampton, Portsmouth, Basingstoke, Horsham and Worthing.
