£465 per day
Commercial Managers are required to lead the negotiation of directly awarded franchise agreement with incumbent rail franchise operators.
The roles will generally lead the relationship with at least one of the 16 passenger rail franchise operators and will involve:
*Leading on contractual negotiations and variations
*Addressing day to day commercial issues
*Briefing Ministers on matters arising as well as contracted or programmed franchise delivery
*contributing towards the rail franchising programme
*Providing Commercial support to wider departmental programmes such as capital investment schemes eg Thameslink.
*Experience in Rail Franchises and Central Government projects required
