Commercial Manager, Upstream Oil & Gas, London Commercial Manager: I am currently working with a very exciting client - the UK Exploration wing of one of the world's largest Oil & Gas companies. This division has just acquired a significant number of assets, which hopefully will result in them more than tripling their production over the next few years. The company are as a result growing rapidly and continuing to look for key strategic acquisitions to help develop their portfolio, and need a Commercial Manager to help them achieve this. The main focus of the role will be in commercial support, however there may be some involvement in business development. Specific responsibilities include: + acting as Deputy Manager for the Commercial group + developing commercial strategy for the company's assets + acting as liaison with the company's JV partners + negotiating joint venture and third party agreements + transaction origin and execution + working with a number of agreements including, but not limited to, Joint Operating Agreements, Gas Supply Agreements, Transportation & Processing Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, and asset Sale and Purchase Agreements To be considered for this challenging and varied role, you must have the following skills/qualifications: + 10+ years energy experience, with a specific focus on upstream Oil & Gas + hands on experience with all the above agreements + strong understanding of petroleum economics + a well-developed network of UKCS contacts + degree qualified This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to get involved with a growing business at an early stage, and could really boost the career of whoever takes on this challenge successfully.
