I am putting together a project team to deliver an exciting project to launch of a new business strategy with the transport sector. Candidates will be required to undertake various activities which will include programme management and leadership of change initiatives, the assessment of current resources and competencies, development of new working methodologies, evaluation and development of investment programme and plan, technical advice and support activity relating to property leases etc.

The commercial manager is a valuable member of this team & is required from the start in early November for an initial duration of 9 months. This role concentrates on all areas of commercial management in the transport sector - any experience in either the rail sector or airport sector would be preferable.

Experience/Requirements

Commercial experience in the rail/airport industry

Assessing contracts and commercial submissions

Tender process management and bid evaluation

Supply chain engagement and management

Development of vertically integrated supply chain

Working with/leading team of commercial managers

Strong project management methodology

Delivery focus and commitment to achieving to deadlines

Location - London

Rate - £400-500 per day
