I am currently recruiting for 4 Commercial Managers on behalf of our government customer based in Leeds. These are interim assignments initially for 9 months offering a daily rate of up to £510 per day.

The Commercial Managers are to manage the extension or/and tendering process (as required for the relevant contracts).

The Commercial Managers will be assessing the existing commercial landscape and looking at the impact on programme delivery. Designing and implementing approaches which ensure effective delivery of the right outcome for the department and leading on supplier integration with regards to relationship and cost impact upon the department.

They will also be responsible for clarifying the ability to terminate current contracts, working with programme finance leads to understand impact and realisation of any potential benefits.

The successful Commercial Managers will need the ability to renegotiate existing contracts, manage the impact of existing commercial financial models and act as primary point of contact between the incumbent supplier(s) and the department.

Essential Experience Required:

- Experience of Public Sector sourcing
- Category management and OJEU Procurement
