Commercial Manager - FTC

My client a leading energy provider in the UK currently has an urgent requirement for a Commercial Manager. The Person required will be responsible for working with the Business and IT Procurement to ensure that effective contracts with appropriate Service Level Agreements and key performance indicators are agreed to. The Commercial Manager is responsible for monitoring and measuring the contractual performance of each supplier/partner and supporting the Head of Partner Management with the relationship management of the wider stakeholder community.

The ideal candidate should come with the following experience

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience of working with IT suppliers in a Supplier or Commercial Manager role
- Adept experience in a Telecoms and Desktop environment
- An in depth understanding of the nuclear industry and energy sourcing in terms of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience of managing classified contracts
- To be able to support the business from a commercial perspective whilst having empathy regarding technical challenges, and to act as point of escalation when required
- Leadership demonstrated through hands on involvement and team management practices
- Deep commercial and contract management knowledge and experience (internal and industry insight)
- Experience in working with IT suppliers/partners in a supplier or commercial manager role
