I am looking to hire Commercial manager for our defence sector client.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

The Commercial Manager (Sales) will provide Commercial Sales and Software Licensing procurement support to Divisions/Functions and develop effective contractual relationships with external supplier base. Ideally, the candidate will have expertise in maximising value in Sales contracts, ensuring compliance with ITAR and international trade regulations. The role will require the candidate to have knowledge of software licencing and manage impact commercial policy in this area and will be expected to develop the skills and knowledge of Commercial Officers through coaching and knowledge transfer.

ESSENTIAL:

- Experience of reviewing Sales bids or placing sales contracts.
- Experience of Software Licensing
- Experience of placing Defence contracts or Public Sector contracts.
- Awareness of relevant supplier base;
- Knowledge of markets and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Project Management experience - Ideally CIPS qualified
- Experience of writing commercial proposals in the Defence environment (eg pricing up work packages, considering commercial risk and liabilities, reviewing proposals before issuing to the customer, negoitating appropriate terms)
- Experience in Account Management and subsequent delivery of commercial sales proposals
- Experience of Govt contracting
