Commercial Manager/Business Development - Big Data

I am currently recruiting for a Commercial Manager - Big Data for a leading retail Bank. I have outlined the role details below.

Role: Commercial Manager - Big Data
Rate: Up to £650p/d
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Location: Canary Wharf

The Commercial Manager - Big Data three strategic focus areas are, revenue opportunities, structural cost take-out initiatives and create/lead/own our relationship management model; you are the face of DSI.

The Commercial Manager - Big Data will:

*Lead a diverse set of disruptive, game-changing initiatives across the bank
*Solve real, tough data challenges that impact millions of users
*Create new revenue and growth opportunities for the businesses

The Commercial Manager - Big Data will be Accountable for

*Hands on experience in cutting edge data technologies like Graph Databases and Architecture. Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in a technical discipline.
*Experience in cost management, financial analytics and modelling and KPI tracking
*Commercial and business development experience in a tier 1 financial institution
*Experience working with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to align teams around the product definition, value proposition and identifying market opportunities
*Technical skills in building business cases, define vision, roadmap and strategy for cross functional, cross-business unit programmes
*Experience of working in complex financial operating environments under challenging cost and time pressures
*The candidate will ideally have had previous experience in large scale organizations undergoing significant transformation/change
*Solid background in cross functional product/programme delivery
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Experience in achieving deliverables through working with and influencing peers and senior management
*Experience of stakeholder management at ExCo level within a multi-product, global, Matrix
*Experience of end-to-end program life cycle for products or services that span across the organisation
*Advanced MS PowerPoint and presentation skills, ability to both communicate and present complex solutions in a way to facilitate effective, informed decision making
*Operating in a dynamic complex multi-disciplined business environment where change is both constant and demanding
