Commercial Manager

I am looking to hire a Commercial Manager for one of my public sector client.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- MCIPS qualified
- Experience of working with large Central and/or Local Government contracts, and familiarity with EU/Public Sector procurement regulations;
- Successful management of a part of a large contract £100m or high level of risk or complexity], and ability to recommend new and innovative ways of managing large scale contracts;
- Experience of close working with a range of suppliers, and in doing so has developed an understanding of their motivations and working practices;
- Good communication and leadership skills;Ability to coach, mentor and up-skill current team members, ensuring that key contract management skills and knowledge is fully transferred by the end of the period.
- Strategic contract management and supplier relationship management plans including areas for development/improvement/innovation within the commercial management space going forward;
- Analysis of key risks and issues in respect of large, complex contracts and recommendations for mitigation
