Outsource UK are actively seeking to recruit a Commercial Manager to work within procurement for an initial 6 month contract. This opportunity is based with our key financial services client that we are working with as first tier supplier.

The Job:

- Manage internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of value added services to contracts
- Identifying commercial risks and escalating to relevant parties
- Escalation point for performance, contract and commercial issues with vendors.
- Creating monthly performance reports for vendors, using specific governance documentation to monitor performance

Skills Required:

- Excellent supplier relationship experience, experience in managing contracts and commercial third parties
- Strong understanding of the property industry with focus on retail fit-out
- Knowledge and experience of negotiating on an open book basis and an understanding what competitive mark -up within a fluid marketplace
- Experience of sourcing, appointing and managing Quantity Surveyors, Project Mangers, Main contractors and consultants covering M&E, Structural and CDMC requirements.
- Appreciation of specific risks associated with property works with a focus on logistics and Health and Safety requirements
- Outstanding track record of delivering savings, process efficiencies and value added benefits
- Strong negotiation and communication skills as managing spend up to £75M
- Ideally some man management skills as supporting a team of direct reports
