Outsource UK Ltd is looking for a Commercial Manager/Procurement Manager to join a MoD client on a contract basis.

To apply for this opportunity you will have:

Understanding of EU Public Procurement Regulations
Experience of running competitive tenders ad placing contracts following a variety of public enforcement
Public Sector experience
Experience of managing end to end tender processes
Experience of Stakeholder Management
Ability to manage multiple tasks across various categories of procurement
A clear understanding of developing and following procurement strategies
Defence industry knowledge would be advantageous

The Client:

A well known Government organisation, which focussed on MOD projects and research projects
This role will be based in Fareham, Hampshire, which is commutable from Southampton, Basingstoke, Worthing and Guildford.

The Job:
Working as a Commercial Manager the jobholder will be required to undertake a variety of tasks including:

Managing demand and spend ensuring compliance with preferred buying routes and within current EU and cabinet office regulations
Managing the procurement process from demand to contract end
Setting up new contract processes to ensure smooth running of contracts
Provide direct support and advice as appropriate, including acting as the advisor on issues such as commercial approaches, evaluation processes and negotiation strategies. Reviewing MI to manage contractual spend
