Commercial Manager

Capita Property and infrastructure are recruiting a Commercial Manager within one of our major projects based on the boundary of North London and Hertfordshire. This is a three month contract with the opportunity to move into a permanent position after that period of time. The successful candidate will commercially analyse and review existing business practices and procedures, identifying Commercial and Financial risks and proposing and project managing improvement. You will be responsible for checking the quality and completeness of professional fee proposals prior to submission against agreed norms, where appropriate recommending improvement to such norms.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be highly organised and working to project manage action plans to ensure successful implementation against agreed deadlines.
Your background will enable you to provide commercial support to local management teams during periods of commercial improvement and change.

Your previous work history will mean you have spent time working within a large consultancy organisation providing service to the local government and NHS.

The successful candidate will posess demonstrable experience in commercial and cost management within the construction or outsourcing sector.

You will be highly organised and flexible with the ability to work in a fast paced and highly changeable environment.

You will be driven by acheiving the best results for the organisation and clients.
