Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager required to ensure the integrity of the Contractual activities, including coherence of the commercial approach with the purpose of optimising the Company's business winning prospects and delivering maximum profitability for existing business.

Typical activities will include:
Business Strategy. Develop and Implement Unified Support Environment (USE) Commercial strategies to deliver maximum business advantage in line with business plan.
Business Winning. Responsible for management of the In Service business in CSS. Contract Delivery Ensure the smooth working of Projects.
Work closely with all areas within the business.
Ensure that Contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
Negotiating and agreeing Contract Amendments.
Chairing/and or supporting internal contract amendment acceptance meetings.
Attending internal Project Meetings.
Writing and responding to day to day communication.
Support the progressing of contract payments.
Liaising with the Commercial Customer on a day to day basis.
In doing the above to ensure that the business' commercial interests are protected and maximized at all times.
Ensure Contract (project) closure activities are undertaken in a timely manner.
Process Improvement. Implement improved commercial processes, including where required user guides.
Problem Solving Challenges
Working within an ever changing, complex customer-focused environment. Management of a multi project contract with large numbers of interfaces both internal and external to the business.
Establish Commercial team.
