Our client is a leader in their field within the engineering sector. Through the growth of one of their operating divisions, a newly created HR Business Partnering opportunity has arisen. A recently appointed MD is therefore seeking the support of a commercially minded HR Partner to support them through continued organic and acquisitive growth.

The role therefore will work closely with operational business leaders to translate their plans into tactical HR solutions. The role will dually report to the divisional MD and functionally into HR. As a result the role has the opportunity to offer commercial advice and you will have the support of a wider HR function to assist in personal development. The key projects in the coming six months will involve organisational restructures as the business grows and will therefore require strong employee relations, organisation design and consultation skills.

You will ideally have an HR career developed within large scale businesses and be used to working within a Matrix environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to leadership team level are required. Currently this assignment will run for an initial 3-6 months, however the organisation is undergoing a period of change and longer term career options could materialise.
