Commercial Finance Analyst

Fantastic new contract opportunity for an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst to work with this highly successful, global Manufacturing & Production organisation based in Edinburgh.

Ideally a qualified Accountant (may also look at part qualified, subject to demonstrable experience) &ndash you will have strong Commercial accounting, general accounting (Management Accounting) and systems experience i.e. SAP

This role will act as the finance SME for the implementation of major business process change initiatives that drive revenue management.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, key responsibilities are:

&bull Support Commercial Project Manager in managing Stakeholders to develop change management and transition plans
&bull Promotional Planning
&bull Monthly financial forecasting
&bull Annual planning cycles
&bull Act as SAP &lsquosubject matter expert&rsquo  and deal with finance queries on business use of SAP
&bull UAT
&bull Embed finance transactional processes to governance frameworks

This is an excellent 1st role with an industry leading organisation, whilst it&rsquos on a contract basis, this does offer scope for extension / permanent.
