Commercial Director

IT COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR - REQUIRED FOR A LARGE SCALE GOVERNMENT PROGRAMME BASED IN LONDON.

KEY EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will be responsible for all IT spend across Government ( 5-6bn)They will need to know a lot about IT, Be IT FOCUSSED

Have a knowledge of the latest technologies OPAL/CLOUD etc will have their FINGER ON THE PULSE know the industry

Need to have worked on very large scale IT commercial programmes Large Scale Organisations, 5+ Billion Scale.

The IT Commercial Director must have experience of similar positions on similar large scale programmes and will need to have exposure to the digital marketplace.

Experience required will include the following:-
similar roles on large scale programmes, significant experience of leading digital/IT procurement across very large, complex landscapes and through transformation change, extremely broad and deep knowledge of digital/IT category, able to engage and manage procurement teams, excellent commercial acumen and a good understanding of the legal procurement function, strong understanding of current IT/digital supplier markets and initiatives and an awareness and understanding of industry standard security issues and processes including understanding of HMG''s security policy framework.

The role will be based in London and run until March 2014 initially.
