Commercial Delivery Director/Chief Procurement Officer - London

COMMERCIAL DELIVERY DIRECTOR/CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER required for a Major Business Transformation Programme.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE A STRONG TRACK RECORD OF OPERATING AT EXECUTIVE/BOARD LEVEL OR AS A CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER, AND WILL HAVE MANAGED MAJOR PROCUREMENTS (OVER 1BN) ACROSS A COMPLEX UK WIDE OR GLOBAL LANDSCAPE AND THROUGH TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE.

YOU WILL BE FCIPS QUALIFIED IDEALLY (MCIPS MINIMUM) WITH A BROAD AND DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF PROCUREMENT ACROSS MULTIPLE CATEGORIES WITH A STRONG BUSINESS ACUMEN.

Strong leadership in a complex environment with a high level of uncertainty around predicted future or demand. You will be a highly effective negotiator, with excellent impact and influencing skills at senior levels.

This is a strategic leadership role in the delivery of centralised, end to end managed procurement services. You will lead the Commercial Directorate in delivering a comprehensive, high quality, effective service that manages and coordinates procurement spend that is common across UK wide based organisations.
