Commercial and Contracts Manager (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Ensure compliance with the GDPR
-Ensure the portfolio of supply contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard procedures
-Develop contract strategy based on Power Grids’ policies, customer requirements and the overall execution strategy taking into account risk, pricing, scope, and schedule
-Identify the contract baseline and develop/implement risk mitigation and opportunity plans in concert with PL community affected
-Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects in portfolio of contracts (i.e. payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, guarantees etc.) in cooperation with legal / CM
-Ensure both contract parties have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding
-Assess success of the contract and document and communicate best practices and deficiencies found as part of the closeout process
-Analyse prime contract terms to highlight areas of potential opportunity and risk such as ambiguities, omissions and conflicts in cooperation with legal / CM
-Support drafting of purchase orders, contracts and subcontracts and ensure that relevant (sub)contracts contain appropriate contract terms to protect interests including flow-down of main contract terms
-Draft relevant (sub)contract templates (i.e. frame / supply agreements, business-specific annexures / amendments)
-Manage the general terms conditions and relevant applicable commercial documentation in cooperation with legal / CM

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Legal degree is preferred
-Profound experience in legal / contract management role within the international company
-Proven experience in the GDPR arena
-Knowledge of the procurement function is beneficial
-Experience in direct contracts (negotiation in English)
-Ability to work in short deadlines and under time pressure
-High level change management and communication skills
-Fluency in English, other languages are an added advantage
