Commercial Accountant

We are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Commercial Management Accountant to work within rapidly growing Capita businesses.

Role objective

To support the Financial Controller in ensuring that Revenue and Direct Delivery Costs are correctly reported and understood and value for money is achieved.

Key Responsibilities

- Project costing to report and analyse course and client profitability
- Responsibility for the production of the monthly Management Accounts
- Liaise with budget holders and the Sales Department monthly to obtain information as to the latest expected outturn for the year
- Preparation and distribution of Management Accounts Summaries to Budget Holders.
- Liaise with budget holders to ensure they are receiving all the financial information they require.
- Lead monthly sales and gross margin meetings to be held with Sales and Delivery
- Provide a link between Sales and Finance in the formulation of the Revenue budget.
- Provide Delivery budget holders with the information they require to formulate budgets for the forthcoming year.

Your background

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working within a commercial business environment. You will have advanced excel, ideally SAP and excellent communication skills.

We are ideally looking to appoint immediately into a long term fixed term contract with the opportunity to convert to a permanent contract in the near future.
