Combat Systems Engineer

COMBAT SYSTEMS ENGINEER - C2, ARCHITECTURAL MODELLING, MODAF, MARITIME SYSTEMS

A Combat Systems Engineer with C2, Architectural Modelling, MODAF and Maritime Systems is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Dorchester.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business.

OVERVIEW OF THE COMBAT SYSTEMS ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

An experienced Combat System Designer to support the architectural modelling and design of demonstration systems for the command and control of maritime unmanned systems.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE COMBAT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

- Candidate should have worked at a senior level on a CS design and manufacture project or can demonstrate similar technical insight through a CS operational or support background.
- Knowledge and working understanding of Systems engineering life cycle (with an emphasis on the Concept, Assessment and Design, and Manufacturing and In-Service stages).
- General understanding of complex maritime systems and their operation.
- Good awareness of emerging technologies.
- Ability to investigate and analyse engineering solutions.

The role is based in Dorchester, Dorset - commutable from commutable from Weymouth, Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, Blandford Forum, Bere Regis, Bovington, Sherborne, Yeovil, Crewkerne, Honiton, Axminster, Lyme Regis and Bridport
