COLLECTIONS OPERATIONS MANAGER

Our client, a leading UK retail banking service, is looking for a senior collections operations manager to lead an operations team through a significant piece of work within the business area, targeted at improving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Managing cost centres and efficiencies of business processes
- Managing complaints processes to improve customer satisfaction
- Managing and recruiting the operations team as well as training and further development of team skills
- Senior stakeholder management
- Supporting the head of operations to embed change and build the profile of the centre, both internally and externally
- Managing risk, control, business continuity and information systems
- Monitoring operational performance

The right candidate will have the following experience:

- Lead role in operational and customer service projects
- Working with secured and unsecured collections
- Financial services imperative, preferably retail banking
- Track record of achieving operational performance and customer satisfaction
- Successfully implemented change whilst maintaining a high level of operational performance
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management
- Risk, performance and change management

This is an interim role, paying £550-650 per day based in Manchester on an initial 6 month contract.
