We are looking for a Collections and Sales Strategy Manager to design, execute and analyse a programme of champion challenges in order to improve the effectiveness of multiple client collections and sales strategies.

To maintain and develop the collections/sales system in order that accounts flow through the collections/sales process in a compliant and consistent manner. Conduct monthly health checks on both the system and strategies to ensure they are performing as specified. To investigate and report out any anomalies and implement compliant solutions

To ensure Collections/Sales strategies are clearly documented. Devise, test and challenge strategies and deliver improved cost effectiveness and performance using internal and external best practice

To ensure regular audits are carried out demonstrating the continued effectiveness of current client strategies and the removal of non value add process steps

Effective development and performance management of the Collections/Sales Strategy Analysts in line with company procedures and T+C framework

Essential Experience/Skills:

* In depth knowledge of operating collections/sales systems and processes and best practices

* Process management and process improvement experience

* Previous people management experience - Driving, leading and development of a strategic team

* Proven Analytical Skills - including the use of Business Objects/Minitab and Microsoft Excel packages

* Ability to build, interpret information provided in a timely manner.

Desired Experience/Skills:

* Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

* Ability to negotiate, influence, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, customers, operational teams and other support functions

* Excellent communication, negotiation and listening skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.

* Good decision-making, relationship management, communication and problem solving skills.

* PC literate (Keyboard skills, Microsoft Office applications, Business Objects etc)

* Understanding of OFT Debt Collections/Sales guidance, OFCOM regulations, CCA, DPA and other regulations that cover the FSA regulated business.

* Effective and timely Internal and external Stakeholder management and influencing
