Collections Account Executive (6 Month Contract) - £16k-£18k

Credit 4 Cars is a nationwide car finance company, based in Basildon, Essex.  The business focuses within the non conforming sector. The company is growing rapidly and are looking to increase the collections department with the following role, you will be joining an existing team of Collection Account Executive agents within the company. Previous experience within a collections department is required, although not necessarily within the automotive sector, if you have previous collections experience within Secured loan or Mortgage collections this is acceptable.

Your main duties are as follows:

To carry out the Loan Management and Default procedures of the company including collecting delinquent accounts and communicating all credit related issues to senior management. This to be achieved within the job holders' objectives, as agreed orally or in writing.

List of main duties

- Negotiate payment programs with delinquent customers in line with policy.
- Identify accounts requiring repossession and/or legal action and coordinate activity with agents, solicitors, etc.
- Monitor and report any breaches of credit/underwriting policy.
- Ensure we treat customers fairly while maintaining a commercial approach.
- Action HPI Alerts etc.
- Initial checking of newly completed files
- Account administration

Hours are 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs, flexible working hours are required, you will be required to work a late shift and the occasional Saturday.
