Scania is a major supplier to British industry of
trucks, buses, coaches and engines for industrial and marine applications.
Additionally, the company provides a wide range of complementary and ancillary
services in support of its products and customers through its 90-plus-strong
network of service centres. In 2013, Scania's share of the UK heavy truck
market was 18.1% and its combined bus and coach market share amounted to 8.3%.

Scania dealers offer sales of new and used vehicles and, through a
nationwide network of 90 service points, provide a wide range of market services
and contract packages to support operators' individual needs. Scania also has its own UK finance-provider, Scania
Finance Great Britain Limited. This company's team of in-house industry
specialists provide support to the UK Scania dealer network to ensure operators
are able to acquire their vehicles in the most cost-effective manner in every
case.

SUMMARY Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, the post-holder will be a dedicated collection &
delivery driver.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Collection and delivery of HGV's for servicing
- Yard shunting
- Deal with customer returns
- Promote the company's products and services
- Deal with customer needs with a professional and friendly approach

Candidate Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

- Must have experience in a commercial workshop

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Must have Driver CPC
- Class 1 LGV licence
- PCV licence
- Excellent timekeeping
- Ability to build good relationships, internally and externally
- Willing to learn
- Enthusiastic
- Flexible approach
- A clean driving licence
