COLLATERAL RISK MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Our global client is currently recruiting for COLLATERAL RISK MANAGEMENT ANALYST to work at their Birmingham office on a CONTRACT basis

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

- Issuance of margin calls
- Monitoring of Issued calls throughout the day
- Reviewing of outgoing and incoming margin calls over 50m US Dollars (USD) and seeking appropriate approval
- Submission of waiver requests for invalid margin calls
- Liaise with Front officer traders with dispute
- General management of group inbox
- Chase unresponsive clients by email and/or telephone
- Escalate unresolved unresponsive counterparties to Mgt
- Booking of cash collateral moves
- Sending of substitution requests initiated by Front Office to counterparties
- Booking of substitutions
- Raise and monitor Operations Portal (OPAL) items, resolve and escalate when appropriate to Associate
- Trade Reprice
- Investigation and resolution of basic, ad-hoc and complex queries from internal and external clients
- Engagement in on-boarding of new counterparties
- Completion of end-of-day (EOD) & checklist

YOU WILL HAVE: (Skills/Experience)

- Collateral/security lending experience (preferred)
- Strong IT skills
- Experience and understanding of the banking and finance sectors
