Part of the BNP Paribas Group Shared Service Centre SENT based in Brussels, the Collaboration Asset Management team is implementing innovative Social &
Collaborative solutions empowering its Business lines to improve productivity and efficiency.
The team is looking for a highly experienced and enthusiastic program manager to lead the IT infrastructure projects underlying the construction of the Social and
Collaborative platform in a highly complex environment.
The Collaboration platform ecosystem includes:
- A Social and collaborative platform
- A Real Time Communication platform
- Transversal IT services (Authentication, Directory, Capture, Compliance, Intranet CMS, Mobile, Messaging)
Function Description
The program manager reports to the Collaboration Team manager.
His responsibilities include:
- Establish clear objectives and deliverables for the program and the individual projects in close collaboration with the project managers.
- Establish project schedules and identify key risks/mitigation plans and manage major risks and issues through effective contingency plans and proper
escalation.
- Manage financials, sub project dependencies and programme dependencies.
- Prepare and present clear, concise project updates and critical phase exit deliverables to steering forums.
- Lead and document core team meetings and required single subject working sessions.
- Lead the team to deliver the projects/product to market on time, at the desired quality level and the according/defined project timelines.
- Federate teams in Paris and Brussels on a common goal

Mandatory
- 10 years of professional experience managing IT infrastructure projects in a large multinational organisation
- IT infrastructure literacy (Network, Security, Storage, DBA, Open Systems, O/S)
Preferable
- IBM Social Technologies
- Unified Communications
- BNP Paribas' Harmony project Methodology
Business Experience
Mandatory
- Experience in IT/Business relationships
- Experience in development/challenge of business cases
- Proven ability to monitor and manage budget (effectively work and report on notions such as Budget, Actuals, ETCs, EAC…)
- Strong ability to prepare top management presentations and reporting
Preferable
- Previous BNP Paribas Group experience
- Previous banking sector experience an asset
Soft skills
- Strong ability to structure projects as well as the follow-up/monitoring of the execution
- Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, presentation, influence and negotiation)
- Good analytical skills (proficiency in Data manipulation for budgeting and finance modelling is a must)
