Coldfusion Developer

The contract is with a consultancy organization to be on assignment to a large European site in Brussels as follows:- The organisations local information systems have been developed in ColdFusion while the database is Oracle. Some elements of the system are accessible via the Internet (ie https). Within the framework of the IT annual work programme they wishto have the assistance of a Senior Analyst-Programmer to carry out the development of new modules and the maintenance of the existing modules.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:
Analyse the user requirements, including impact analysis.
Participate in meetings with the users and other stakeholders.
Write, maintain, test and put in production programs that reflect the specifications based on user requirements.
Produce and update relevant documentation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
The work will be carried on the Commission's premises in Brussels.
The methodology used for its development is based on RUP and Rational tools.
The technical environment is based on Oracle and ColdFusion.
Internet Explorer 8 is the web browser, though compatibility to the most used
