Cognos TM1 Consultant - Brussels - Initial 6 Month Contract

COGNOS - TM1 - BI - BW - SAP - BRUSSELS

The chosen consultant will become part of the Global Finance department to orchestrate the end-to-end financial planning, budgeting & forecasting processes to support the following processes:

- P&L planning
- Balance sheet planning
- Cash flow planning
- Reporting

The most important solution supporting these processes are Cognos TM1 & Cognos BI and their integration with SAP BW, SAP ECC and SAP HR

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Align and communicate with the relevant stakeholders
- Build, implement & support standardized and globalized solutions, mainly using Cognos TM1 & Cognos BI solutions
- Deliver projects in close collaboration with all parties involved
- Follow market trends and industry best practices with the aim of sharing the acquired knowledge and applying it to propose innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance of the solutions to global process and legal requirements, follow validation guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Actively take part in the implementation of the IT strategy

EXPECTED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 5+ years of experience in Cognos TM1
- Experience with reporting capabilities related to planning & budgeting processes
- Project Management/Lead experience
- Experience of working in a global environment
- Experience in managing relationships with business partners
- Experience in managing relationships with external IT service partners and software vendors
- Fluent English

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP BW
- Experience in a validated, pharmaceutical environment
