Cognos Report Writer

We are looking for a Cognos report writer within the financial industry for a 6 month contract based in London.

This position will perform duties include:

- Developing reports and dashboards - Cognos 8.4
- Work with a range of end users at all levels of the organization to define, design and implement new Cognos report specifications as required.
- Create and manage a library of reports.
- Develop training materials and train end users, as required.

Required skills:

- Several years experience using Cognos 8.4 - 10 experience a plus.
- Experience writing reports via multiple methodologies such as against Framework using Report Studio, Query Studio, SQL Query, and against Datamart.
- Interact with users at all levels of the organization with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience writing report specifications and working with users to clarify provided specifications.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and project management skills.
