COGNOS DEVELOPER: One of our market leading clients is urgently seeking a Cognos Developer to join their multinational team in a dynamic environment for a long-term, lucrative and stable contract in a great location.
KEY SKILLS:
1. Cognos modelling and design (V10 & V8)
2. Knowhow of ETL processes
3. Oracle 11
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement new Business Cases in an existing Data Warehouse and Reporting Platform
- Analyse and structure requirements
- Design, develop and optimize of ETL-processes
- Identify, challenge and clarify GAPs and lacks of clarity with business department
(deep understanding of related applications, incl. source systems and business processes)
- Design and develop solutions on base of existing IT guidelines
- Test and optimize the data processing and models
- Document all steps and features
- Transfer solution into operations (deliver solution, train and support 1st to 3rd Level)
