COGNOS DEVELOPER

Cognos Developer sought for a 4-5 Months Contract Opportunity based in Helsingborg/Sweden.

As a Cognos Developer you will work on a Business Intelligence project.

The project assignment is to develop, unit test and document the Cognos framework, packages and reports, and to perform System Integration Test (SIT) and participate in Business Acceptance Test (BAT). The Cognos development will be in accordance to the Low Level design created by the project's Solution Architect. The assignment is also to actively participate in the Handover to our Application Maintenance team. The project team will consist of IT Project Manager (IT PM), Business Analyst, Solution Architect, one ETL Developer and one Cognos Developer. The different project resources will report to the IT PM.

The project is planned to end in August/September 2014.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE, SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILL SET;

- Senior level Experience as a Cognos Developer 
- Experience as a Solution Architect/ Good understanding of Business Intelligence Architecture
- Good understanding of Data Warehouse functionality
- Experienced in Cognos Framework Manager
- Experienced in Report Studio
- SQL Experience
- Experienced in Handling huge data volumes
- Requirements management
- Performance tuning should be an easy task for this resource. 
- Take own responsibility, be delivery focused and be able to work in a small project team.
- Good communication skills
- Fluent Business level English language.

WORKLOAD: Variable, 50-70%
