Cognos Developer

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE FOLLOWING

7+ Years of Total Experience
2+ Years as BI Architect Experience
Strong skills to Analyze, design, develop, and support initiatives to deliver Cognos 8 frameworks enabling end user reporting capabilities
as well as advanced reporting development
Good understanding in Data Warehousing concepts, Data Analysis, Data Warehouse Architecture.
Must have experience in designing, working with and development of Star/Snowflake Schema Design, DataMarts and Dimensional Models
Skilled in performance tuning, analysing query plans and tuning.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Cognos related issues
Experience of working with business users to gather requirements and provide training
Experience with Oracle 10/11g
Understanding of the entire SDLC process and knowledge of industry standard best practices
Strong SQL skills
ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have experience as an architect designing Cognos 8.X solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Solid oral and written communication skills.
