Our client is a leader in the finance industry and have a global presence. You'll find their offices in each of the major financial centres of the world. This is an opportunity to help shape their Business Intelligence solutions. If you're a specialist in IBM Cognos Business Intelligence development, please read on!
The role involves designing and developing the Cognos framework, handling Business Intelligence developments, creating reports and dashboards, defining scheduling requirements for reporting, supporting users and ensuring solutions are pragmatic and balance cost and quality.
In order to qualify, you'll need to master the IBM Cognos Suite. This involves the Report Studio, the Query Studio, the Framework Manager and Business Insight. The client would prefer applicants to have Sybase experience and Agile/Scrum expertise, but these points can be discussed. At least basic dimensional modelling knowledge is required.
