Cognos BI Architect

Next Ventures is urgently seeking an experienced Cognos BI Architect for a brand new SAP Hana implementation kicking off in October.

The ideal candidate will have around 10 years of relevant experience within BI architecture working for blue chip companies internationally. Extensive experience working within the fashion industry would be advantageous.

Scope of activities:

Understand the existing reporting architecture

Analyse the existing reports for the business, usage patterns and dormant reports

Define the integration architecture for the reporting layer and the HANA layer

Participate in requirement workshops.

Obtain Requirement information from Integration BA, BI Architect.

Participate in Workshop to produce reports Specification document.

Define the design patterns and common components

Create High level design, reporting specification documentation.

Define the data transformation, data rolls up for reporting

German fluency would be a plus for this role.
