HR Reporting/Analytics lead with hands-on experience in design, develop, and support of the Datawarehouse, Cognos, Tableau and SAS technologies. Engage with Business users to understand their need, challenges to turn them into meaningful solutions with structured deliverables. Educate and demo the capabilities to end users for a better engagement and adoption of the tools and technology to be effective and efficient in their day-to-day job. Collaborate with Data Architect/DBA to develop/optimize the Star-schema model to support the semantic layers of reporting/analytics.

Top 3-5 required skills:
1) Strong working experience in Cognos Back End tools of Framework Manager to build relational and DMR models; Transformer to build OLAP CUBES. Highly skillful in SQL and database technologies
2) Expertise and Hands-on experience in developing rich data visualization using Tableau by connecting to the variety of data sources by enforcing proper Datamodelling and high performance
3) Deep understanding of best practices on Security, portal and sharepoint integrations using web standard technologies.
4) Hands on experience in creating complex reports/analytics using Cognos 10.2 reporting tools: Report studio, Active reporting, Workspace adv, Insight etc., Tableau tools to develop advanced charts, Dashboards and visuals. Build guided navigation utilizing drill through and drill up/down reports
5) Excellent verbal, written communication and documentation skills. Passionate, accountable with highest commitment towards the reporting/analytics business engagements and technologies.

Top 3-5 daily responsibilities:
1) Design and develop analytics: Business views, DMR models, Cubes and Dynamic query capabilities by utilizing Cognos 10.2 advanced features and produce rich visualization of charts, data sheets, dashboards and score cards using Tableau
2) Responsible for implementing best practices on Cognos/Tableau Dashboards, Scorecards, Portal, report design, development and testing
3) Liaise with Business and technical staff to ensure accurate understanding of Business requirements and translation of business requirements to technical design and documentation
4) Work with security team to design and configure the security; integrate with sharepoint and portals
5) Creating complex reports by integrating business views with cubes with rich visualization, guided navigation and achieve extreme performance

Desired Skills:
Experience with PeopleSoft and Human resources functionality; SAS expertise in EG, Data integrator and web reporting studio; Lead experience within reporting/analytics; Project Management

Education BS required
7+years exp.

Customer facing, Business engagement experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills must be required.
Candidate must have working knowledge of reporting/analytical tools: Cognos (Report Studio, Active reporting, Workspace adv, Dynamic query, Query Studio, Analysis Studio, Frame work manager, Transformer) and Tableau to build Business abstraction layer and multi-dimensional analysis.
Candidate must have working experience on implementing reporting/analytics projects that are complex in nature.
Candidate must have production support, customer service expertise with process improvement knowledge in maintaining Datawarehouse, reporting and analytical applications.

Expertise in PeopleSoft HCM functionality; Oracle HCM cloud, OTBI-E and SAS
