Cognos Analyst/Developer
Our global multinational client in Switzerland is now looking for a Cognos Developer to join them on a long term basis. This will either be a permanent position or a long term contract.
Start Date: ASAP.
Working language: English. French or German is always welcome.
YOU WILL
*Identify and analyze data conflicts between source systems and Datawarehouse systems. A solid knowledge of MS SQL and some knowledge of Oracle is expected.
*Create reporting packages
*Create a number of Cognos 10 Dashboards (Using Report Studio against Cognos Cubes)
*Analyze, assess, and troubleshoot underlying analyst models to optimize performance and reporting.
*Assist business managers and other users with troubleshooting systems or report errors.
*Conduct formal and informal training sessions with end users on Cognos Contributor applications.
*Support a large user community globally
YOU NEED
*Cognos v10 - Query, Analysis, Report, Metric, Event Studio
*Design and development of Charts, Graphs and Dashboards
*Good experience in databases such as MS SQL Server and ideally Oracle
*Ideally you have some knowledge/experience with .NET C# framework.
