Cognos Administration and Framework Development Support Job

Yoh has a Contract Opportunity for a COGNOS ADMINISTRATION AND FRAMEWORK DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT to join our Client in St Louis, Missouri.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Installation, Configuration, Administration and Maintenance of a business-critical Cognos product set in a 24x7 production environment
- Works closely with the Subject matter experts (SME)s to document technical guidelines for multiple levels in the organization

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE!

- Experience in the Installation, Configuration, Administration and Maintenance of a business-critical Cognos product set in a 24x7 production environment.
- Four (4) years of Cognos Administration with framework development
- Cognos 8.4.1 BI
- Experience with Cognos Framework Manager developing and maintaining Cubes, Queries, and Reports
- Knowledge in Administration of Cognos Business Intelligence Suite
- Plan and maintain upgrades, patches, and hot fixes for Cognos
- Knowledge in Upgrading Cognos to newer versions
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Cognos customizations
- Knowledge of Cognos tools like Motio and Genware

BONUS POINTS!

- Four (4+) years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence role, including data warehousing and Business Intelligence tools, techniques and technology
- Four (4+) years of experience in diving deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions
- IBM Certified Administrator or IBM Certified Solution Expert preferred
- Experience in data mining (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, etc.) and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
