Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

4Social Work are currently seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for our client in the North West of the UK. The role requires flexibility and is a mobile Role covering the North West and surrounding areas

Job Purpose:

You will work as an experienced clinician offering either specialist CBT or CAT therapy to service users and offering advice to care coordinators on psychological assessment and formulation informed by your therapeutic modality. You will be expected to contribute to the general activities of the PT service offering training and supervision if requested and participate in team meetings and service developments as appropriate.

Essential:

•Qualification in CBT to post graduate diploma level or a qualification in Cognitive Analytic Therapy
•Experience working with people with significant mental health problems

Main key Responsibilities:

•You will provide highly skilled assessments and formal CBT or CAT therapy contracts to service users with a wide range of complex disorders, of moderate to complex severity, as part of their CPA Care Plan.
•Working with other professional colleagues you will be offering training, supervision and advice on CBT or CAT interventions to our community-based support teams.
