THE ROLE: Coded Structural & Piping Welders

Our client is a recruitment company offering an excellent opportunity to work on an FPSO on behalf of their client based in Wallsend.

They require a high number of coded Structural & Piping Welders to work a special shift at premium rates. Working onshore a docked FPSO on the Tyne River, welding structural and pipework in Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel in the 6G Position.

BENEFITS - Travel and accommodation allowance is paid to candidates outside of a fixed radius of Wallsend. - 5 months work.

THE CANDIDATE:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE- PIPEWORK & STRUCTURAL - Coding for structural steel with SMAW root and hot pass with FCAW filler in a 6G position and coding for pipework in carbon and stainless steel with GTAW in the 6G position.

ESSENTIAL - EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH THESE MATERIALS WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS. A current coding in Carbon Steel for structural and both Carbon Steel and stainless steel that has been externally verified within last 2 years and both stamped by an employer within the last 6 months
