Cobol/Linux Test Analyst - Belgium
Languages: ENGLISH only
Skills and experience:
- Knowledge of and experience in developing and/or testing Cobol on Linux
- Knowledge of and experience in Scripting languages (eg Python or Perl)
- Knowledge of and experience with SQL - preferably in combination with DB2
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- It is equally important that you are
- Passionate about testing/QA
- Interested to work in a team on a large, international project in which you will take on challenges
Description of work:
- Prepare automated tests
- Run automated tests
- Analyze test reports, and perform root cause analysis
- Custom developments (typically Scripting) for the on going project
- Following testing, either create and follow-up on issue reports with our Development team or provide a solution directly within our Migration Factory
- Continuously provide feedback to our Development team on possible enhancements
- Go on-site when required amongst others during testing and deployment
